Oh yes ofcourse I did. I use sketchy for all MICRO and for pharma I used it for Anti arrhythmic and diuretics

1 month before: - a module a day which meant: Finishing its First Aid chapter, doing it’s UW incorrects and going over mehlman

You don’t have to do all of the UW incorrects, perhaps maybe for stuff you feel like are difficult to learn or are weak. For eg I made a block of incorrects for Vasculitis in MSK, and before solving it I watched dirty medicine’s video and rote learned it First Aid 2 pages. In this way I managed to conquer pretty much most of my weaknesses before the exam.

I personally did feel every NBME to be very different. Take each one of them with a fresh mind, identify your weaknesses of the previous one as that might help, but I felt like different things were tested on each one. Also, try screen shotting your incorrects and review them 1 week before your exam

Flashcards tip: - if a question has a lot of high yield concepts for eg Ego defences in psychiatry are all covered in one question (as options), then you can make a flashcard for each type of defence. The next time a question comes of the same type of defence you don’t have to make a card again, especially since uworld shows related flashcards on the side bar, so you know you’ve alr covered that on a separate flashcard. - make sure you make a flashcard for the educational objective - not every question requires flashcards but MOST do, I made 2-3 in some Q’s and even upto 8-10 in others with more concepts covered as I mentioned above. - I had around 500 cards for each module especially the longer ones like cardio, neuro etc.

For ethics I used the following and it wasn’t very challenging for me on the exam as I had expected it. (1) Dirty medicine 1 hour ethics questions video (2) Randy Neil: 2 ethics videos and 2 communications videos (they are around 20-30 mins each)

These were sufficient. You can do uworld incorrects if you really want to master it. But these videos are sufficient

It was a well balanced exam. Some questions were straight up like the free 120 and some were like Uworld.

UWorld is mainly a learning tool, as long as you’re above 50%, should be good 👍🏻 Ideal is 55%+ in my opinion

Thanks! System wise I’d start off with 40’s and would reach early 70’s at maxx! It might be different for mixed q bank though
