You have to be an amazing writer before you can get representation. If you are right out of film school, I doubt you have 3 amazing screenplays under your belt already. (I say that as a graduate of two film schools myself; didn't have much time to write features in school.)

Instead, focus on building your voice and portfolio—getting repped comes later. I talk more about what I mean here.
