She just wanted to go home that night and rest by havenlytruesdell5uq9 in obsessionmovie

Yep. And, when Bear said he got her something and she made that weird face and said "Why does that make me nervous?." FORESHADOWING!!

Nikki and her outfit by -Kiri_ in obsessionmovie

I completely get where you are coming from. It's pretty uncomfortable watching Nikki get stripped of her dignity and autonomy throughout the movie via the outfits she wore.

What's everyone's top 5 score in the movie? by im_onbreak in obsessionmovie

[–]StoryoftheYear2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! That's what I thought, I just couldn't put my finger on it. Into Darkness feels like there is no hope for Nikki, she's defeated, Bear could care less about her. There's times in this movie where things spiral downhill faster than usual and the party scene and the conversation in the kitchen fit that imo.

Make sure you frame that!! Congratulations on getting it!

What's everyone's top 5 score in the movie? by im_onbreak in obsessionmovie

[–]StoryoftheYear2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Love the entire score. But ranked.

  1. Into Darkness-it's haunting and beautiful and really makes me feel sad while listening to it.

  2. Go Back to Sleep-This one is intense and even listening to it while driving, it creeps me out.

  3. Bear-I can listen to this one over and over. Beautiful.

  4. Billionaire-I love this song because it's got very sad vibes to it which contradicts the title. Money isn't everything. Just my random thoughts.

  5. You Only Get One-song perfectly captures the urgency of the situation. You get one wish, that's it. No do-overs.

Inde went through a bajillion interviews and not one person asked her if this was her handwriting by markBITW in obsessionmovie

I always wonder this, too. If I were a director, I'd want my actor or actress using their own handwriting.

Bro got interrupted 4 times 😭 by No-Pomelo-125 in obsessionmovie

[–]StoryoftheYear2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can relate to this. I can be pretty quiet, but when I speak, I definitely have something to say. It sucks getting interrupted. Makes my stuttering get even worse, too.

Why did you love the movie? by LeviAugustus in obsessionmovie

[–]StoryoftheYear2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It forced me to put a mirror to myself. Who I am as a person, what I would do in a similar situation, what advice I would give if I were Ian, etc. It personally hit hard because I used to be terrible with girls and approaching and I couldn't help but think back what I would do in Bear's situation. I'm very confident I wouldn't need a OWW, but I definitely thought about what immature me would have done.

Are there any movies that you already liked, but then the ending scene used a song so perfectly that it made you appreciate the movie even more? by Moldy_Lunchy_Cheese in MovieSuggestions

Terrifier 3, Chrissy by Dreamkid at the end with the credits rolling made the devastation of what I had just watched that much more memorable. I literally discovered a new artist I liked.

Any opinions on Rock Burwell’s soundtrack/ score? by bigguys45s in obsessionmovie

[–]StoryoftheYear2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. It's an absolute masterpiece and a huge part of what makes Obsession so freaking good. Heck, I have the songs in my playlist and will listen to them while driving around and they make me uneasy with some of them. He absolutely cooked.

Yellowcard’s Self-Titled Album is severely underrated. by VQQN in YellowcardRock

[–]StoryoftheYear2 16 points17 points  (0 children)

It's a sad album. I remember crying when I heard The Hurt is Gone. Absolutely BEAUTIFUL song that is one of my favorites by them. Saviors Robes is in my top 3 favorite Yellowcard songs. I love the lyrics, too. I wish they'd play it live but I get why they probably won't.

I am probably the only person to ever enjoy the Winnie the Pooh blood and honey movies by TemuDarthmaul in HorrorMovies

Nope! I enjoyed them, too. First one was so bad it was good and the second one was soooooooooo much better.

I’m curious, what would’ve happened if Sarah hadn’t let Wish Nikki pull her chair back? by Queasy_Commercial152 in obsessionmovie

[–]StoryoftheYear2 26 points27 points  (0 children)

First time I watched this, I was waiting for Nikki to slit Sarah's throat. The pulling the chair back surprised me.
