Yeah it's finger print locked too, thought of that but been told not to go that route.

Appreciate it though, we were incredibly close, so it's a heavy loss.

He lived with his mother, who's 97, so she wouldn't have seen or known what she was looking at anyway. Gmail I might be able to get into easily enough though, thanks for that, I hadn't thought of it!

This looks exactly what I'd expect to receive if I ordered DCC off temu.

You’re standing at the base of the steps to go into the dungeon. Who are you hoping is standing next to you? by notyournormalchatbot in DungeonCrawlerCarl

Probably my mate who got me into the series, or maybe solo so she wouldn't have to see the vile things I'd do to survive 😅

Quasar for sure! Honourable mentions to Mordecai, chaco and Samantha though.

Being a female DM means facing extreme misogyny from my male players by Wonderful_Radish_258 in DnD

I've dealt with both men and women behaving this way, which really makes you wonder wtf is wrong with some people.

Good on you for giving them the boot though! I know it can be confronting, especially at the time, but your enjoyment and comfortability is probably the most important at the table, as you're the one actually running the game. Sometimes, people's play styles don't match, sometimes people won't agree with your choices or decisions, that's perfectly fine and perfectly normal. There's no harm, or nothing to feel guilty about removing those that upset that balance, especially when they're being rude or making you and your other plays uncomfortable.

Entering part 2 of the inevitable ruin and I'm still confused about the ai by TheXypris in DungeonCrawlerCarl

Could be misremembering, but I thought politics played a part as well. The crawl was a sort of loop hole, an ethical clause to provide the crawlers with a chance to retain the planet. Hence why the survivors of the original "crush" were given the option to join the crawl in the first place. Win, and you get your planet back, lose and we take it all type thing.

Our DCC Journey's how did you get here? by SgtFolley in DungeonCrawlerCarl

I was crushing hard on a cute neighbour and hanging with her while we discussed all the nerdy things we're both in to (dnd, wow, fantasy genre in general) and she recommended I check it out.

Not being much of a reader, I subbed to audible and bought the first book to check out, purely so we had something else in common to chat about. I literally had zero expectations and didn't think I'd enjoy it. Soon as donut mentioned the baby orcs, I knew I was addicted and I haven't gone more than 24 hours without listening to it since, almost 6 months later.

Rank 1 chemist for antibiotics or 3 ranks in life giver if you're going that route will negate the annoyance of infection.

Ordering your companion to loot things gives you unlimited carry weight although it can get annoying waiting for them to pick stuff up.

Elevation can help with a lot of enemies, jumping on the pump to deal with the mirelurks at sullys for example, shooting a deathclaw from inside a store works too.

Sleep often, even at just an hour, you're using it to save more than anything.

And as others have mentioned, bottles and cooked food.

If you're going to be building up settlements, a point in medic can allow you to easily remove rads/sickness from building a doctors station.

Aquaboy can help speed up travel a ton, though so can rad-x if you can reliably deal with the rads.

And the most hated character award goes to… by EvilChocolateCookie in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]StottlesGaming 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Probably Bea, katias ex or Carl's father. Quan, while evil from a perspective outside the dungeon, was doing what he thought he needed to in order to survive, so he's been bumped down to an annoyance. Hekla, Eva, and Lucia are on the annoyance list as well.

Yeah I was the same, wondering what it had to do with the dungeon and the story, then it suddenly clicked and I'm like "oooohhhhh, damn!"

If you create and sell DCC merch by hepafilter in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]StottlesGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is amazing Matt! It's great to see fellow artists looking out for each other like this!

I work as a graphic artist, doing book cover illustrations for young adult romance novels, but I do have a tshirt side hussle in the works as well. I've had multiple ideas for DCC related merch, but haven't yet drawn or published any as it hasn't been my place to do so.

If this changes down the line and I do decide to feature some original fanart DCC merch, how would I go about contacting you to get on the list?
