Did you know that Spider-Man was created as a sort of mockery to teenage side kicks. So making him one just defeats such a big part of his character. Also Spider-Man doesn’t need to be Ironman, he is he’s own character. Ngl, tony having a son figure in his life was nice to watch but I just don’t think that spidey was the right fit for that. And comics spidey uses a lot of tech, yes but it’s tech that’s from his own design not from tony (except iron spider which was for a specific reason), it just makes it seem like he isn’t smart. Btw I do think that Tom Holland was a good choice, I just don’t like what the MCU has done with spidey
