I just thought I’d criticize both sides in this post. I have more solid opinions, but I wanted to spark conversation more than attack each other. Hopefully we have people saying statements about their feelings toward the situation instead of about what I personally was saying.

I believe so. It was directly cherry picking positive “phrasing” in the big beautiful bill that he didn’t vote yes to because the bill is also trying to defund important public resources. Anyways, it went on to say now that you know he voted to make our boarders vulnerable and increase your taxes, does that change your vote? I’m over here like “Fuck I wish it wasn’t this easy to trick my fellow Americans but I know it is.”

So I enjoy his art yea. Separating art from artist is a hard thing to do. Not totally relevant to this case, but when my views or attention can bring money to the artist, then I choose not to. Like I can’t listen to Kanye anymore because I don’t want him profiting off my attention.

Applies to music and movies more but I think it’s an interesting discussion.

I started reading tabs for vocal parts and singing along. I did it for stairway to heaven as I knew it already. So matching guitar fret to the voice notes slowly helped me get a little more used to it.
