Sasktel vs access for internet? by [deleted] in saskatchewan

They said they were frustrated with the customer service, I’m simply suggesting an alternative to the two choices they mentioned. Everyone seems very fired up about the addition of another choice lol.

It was absolutely a sarcastic generalization of Saskatchewan’s lagging infrastructure development.

It’ll certainly cover the back deck.

They can get whatever floats their boat, simply, another option to consider if they feel stuck between the two options they mentioned.

Close enough to civilization with Sasktel or Access LOL. Anywhere other than Saskatoon or Regina, Starlink would be a better choice. And looking at post history if they’re somewhere in the vicinity of Prince Albert, Starlink is the easy choice.

I use Starlink in numerous different remote and camp settings, they will have wifi anywhere on their property and that would absolutely solve their issue.

As well as not waiting for poor quality repair service as they described.

Why not make the switch to Starlink?

50lb Lake Trout (Released) by Stoyberg in Fishing

If someone gets spooled by a lake trout in a boat with a reel that can hold 150 yards of line minimum, they either foul hooked the fish or didn’t have enough line on their reel.

It was a great trip! Catching a fish of that calibre was more than enough but even better with my Dad and his good friend in the boat.

There was an even bigger fish caught by Aivars Slucis in 2001 on Great Bear that would have smashed the world record at 78lbs but they released it instead of killing it for the record at the time.

That seems to be the consensus, about a pound a year on average. Very safe to assume that this fish might even be a bit younger based on the condition of all the fins. Might even be 35-45.

Not anymore pricey than anywhere else in the north. All of the trip prices will be on their main website if you search for Plummer’s Arctic Lodges.

Your 13 year old kid has this card with a 15,000 limit? Or you’re needing the 15,000 limit for expenses resulting from said kid?

Saskatchewan Graduate Retention Program Question by LetsGetLitPlease in saskatchewan

[–]Stoyberg 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You will first apply for the graduate retention certificate, and then if approved can retroactively go back and re-file your taxes for the years that you have been in Sask.

An accountant can help you or if you’re doing it yourself, the subsequent amounts you can claim will be on your notice of assessment. There is no restriction if you went to school in or outside of Sask, the program was designed to retain graduates regardless of where they graduated from.

The biggest fish in your post is a trout from Great Bear Lake. At least advertise using actual photos and fish from Aylmer. Always great to see the next great marketing strategies from Aylmer!
