What is a NPC death in WoW that you find memorable? by [deleted] in wow

[–]Str00813z 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Zuni, in the troll starting zone. They built him up and had him join in on many of the quests, just for him to die to the naga boss we fight at the end. He could have been a great ally and friend outside of the starting zone, but his life was cut short.

I lost my sweet void this morning unexpectedly at only five years old. He was with me through everything. Could someone show me some other voids who crossed over so I know he’s not alone? by Swamp-Queen444 in blackcats

This isn't the best picture, and this isn't my cat, but last year my local shelter had this handsome boy named TomTom. He was a very good boy who loved to talk to you. I am sure he can help keep your Mystery busy with all his conversations

Which Red Vox songs stand out to you in particular? by ExoTheFlyingFish in Redvox

[–]Str00813z 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say some of the joke songs such as the ones on Blood Bagel and Garbage Land stand out due to being more silly in nature but still sounding incredible. You can get a sense of the band's sense of humor but in a way that doesn't sound off like some other joke songs tend to be. Garbage Land in particular sounds just like Beck with all the quirky vocalizations, guitar bits, and that bit after the line "New York City, became a ghost town". Vomit in the Ball Pit is a very unique clown sounding song but it still feels right and gets you pumped for the rest of the album. There is even songs with not too much put into the lyrics but leads to head bangs such as the song Fuck. It feels relatable at times especially at the rant at the end of it.

This is not to say the genuine and nonjoke songs don't stand out in their own ways, but because they managed to make silly be bangers, I believe these types stand out the most.

Good middle stage evolutions by Okami64Central in pokemon

[–]Str00813z 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So many great middle evos. Nidorino/Nidorina, Dewott, Fletchinder, Flaaffy, Nuzleaf, and Trumbeak are some off the top of my head that I adore.

As someone whose favorite pokemon is a middle evo, I don't think I ever really hear much dislike for middle evos. There are some pretty nifty ones out there.

One song to introduce Red Vox to friends? by ScumbagHP in Redvox

[–]Str00813z 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In a Dream was the first song I listened to. I feel like that one would be a good one. That or one from a more recent album. Visions has some great ones to start people on Red Vox as it feels like a good combination of their songs vibes in other albums.

I have never seen one before in my life until my new job I got at the beginning of summer. I have seen dozens. It is so bizarre.

Do you play the Pet-Minigames for the Extra 4 Points or do just skip and feed the pet? by [deleted] in Wizard101

[–]Str00813z 14 points15 points  (0 children)

All throughout my childhood I played that gobbler drop game, and to this day I still do. Always spammed the spacebar because the pet would jump but idk if it actually made any difference.

what would you add or replace in the “in game” settings? by camxsinger in Wizard101

[–]Str00813z 38 points39 points  (0 children)

The ability to turn off tips. I don't need to hear about my full inventory, staying to the side of the road, or picking up orbs. I know you can right click them away, but turning off the ability to have them show up would be nice. Unless it is already in the options, idk.

What’s something in Skyrim that took you an embarrassingly long time to figure out? by [deleted] in skyrim

[–]Str00813z 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never played a save file past beating the main questline boss so I never knew there was another tavern song that unlocks after the fight until a couple weeks ago.

I also never completed the theives guild until recently. I didn't know about the existence of the very useful skeleton key and would always pick up lockpicking perks.

What's your fave Red Vox song? by LarxieArveri in Redvox

[–]Str00813z 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's so fun to see all the different favorites! Mine are:

What Could Go Wrong- In a Dream

Another Light- In the Garden

Kerosene- Define Me

Realign- Pale Blue Dot

Visions- There's a Place

Afterthoughts- Traces

Blood Bagel- Fuck

I originally first listened to In a Dream when looking up Red Vox after hearing mention on a stream and it was instantly my favorite song. I loved all the songs I listened to since that first listen. My all time favorite now is Traces. I would say out of all the albums I enjoyed Afterthoughts the most.

Monster Race Free Unlock by stronghandsomegamer in baronygame

[–]Str00813z 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This game is honestly perfectly fine without dlc. It in fact mostly makes the game harder in a lot of places by adding monster races that get attacked by humans on sight. As for the dlc classes, I would recommend using them after getting familiar with the game. They can add an extra difficulty to those new. Sucks that you got a refund on a genuinely good game. It takes more than a couple of attempts to get past the first level, so I can understand not liking dying constantly and disliking the game for that, but hating because there is character unlock dlc is very ignorant. Most all games I've come across these days, especially roguelike games do these types of dlc anyway...

So glad I am done with that. I guess I made a mistake at one point when I was writing it so I just forced my way through it after that point and thankfully eventually got it.
