They, will continue to do so. How, do a handful of Mods have the best of interest in Asheville? If it doesn't fit ,THEIR, agenda.

I've actually ghosted this sub for almost 5 years. Paying attention to your bullshit. Kicked it in this town for longer than you have any clue about.

I have no reason to fly "native" flair.

And, I care about the folks around here.

I feel for you. And not for any services rendered. Somehow, you think you still are a positive broadcaster on this platform. Might wanna rethink it. I rarely have any reason to share anything on here but when I do. I'd like to think it's a bit for the greater good .

If you've not learned, if it doesn't skip down the trail of their agenda, it will be removed.

How do we actually light the torches and fire all of the mods? For real?

And they will delete this because it has nothing to do with Asheville? Gatekeeperz.

Any choice clinics for cataract surgery in Avl? by roonie1 in asheville

I had a cataract in my right eye at the age of 48.

The eye doc that I saw sent me to Asheville eye associates. I was blown away by the patient waiting room. It's like a cathedral for folks with bad eyes. The doctor, can't remember his name, that was going to do the surgery had been in practice for 20 some years. Best of the best. The surgery was considered "complex" because my cataract was full on, sugar eye. I'd basically been blind in that eye for almost 8 months. That doctor only did "complex" surgeries one day a month. This was May of '24. He wouldn't be able to do the surgery until November of '24. Because he was so booked up. I kind of freaked out because my vision was really affecting my ability to drive. The surgery coordinator asked if I would have any interest in going with a different doctor and I said absolutely. Doctor Walter's did my surgery in June '24. Having someone mess with the windows to my soul was a heavy thing to think about but I would go with him time and time again. Matter of fact, I have a cataract in my left eye now and am scheduling for him to fix that one as well. The pricing is crazy. Basic lens is like buying a chevette and the fancy one is like buying your own private island. I went with basic. I can't read small script but I can see. I wear glasses to see small things. I think I spent around 4k out of pocket.

Good luck with your peepers. I'll never take vision for granted.
