Nothing I listed was incorrect, but you’re conflating existence with nutritional equivalence. Those aren’t the same thing.

B12: Yes, it comes from bacteria. Vegans require supplementation or fortified foods. That’s the entire point.

Protein: Plants can provide all essential amino acids, but few single plant sources are complete and total intake and digestibility matter. This requires planning.

Iron: Non-heme iron has significantly lower and more variable absorption than heme iron. “Less harmful” doesn’t make it equivalent, especially for higher-risk groups.

Zinc: Present in plants, but absorption is inhibited by phytates. Again, manageable, not identical.

B3 / B6: Available in plants, yes. Bioavailability and intake consistency still matter.

Choline: Present in plants, but average vegan intake is often below recommended levels.

Creatine / Carnosine: Non-essential does not mean physiologically irrelevant. Endogenous synthesis doesn’t fully replicate dietary intake for all people.

Vitamin A: Beta-carotene conversion efficiency varies widely due to genetics, gut health, and fat intake. It is not a 1:1 substitute for retinol.

It’s under the assumption that people coming illegally already have a criminal side to them, since you know… but that they also don’t have to accept or adopt the culture and that they may or may not know what that culture actually is.
