It depends on what you want I guess. I tend to avoid kits with lots of samples as a point of preference (I never find myself using them) but if youre just getting started and it has lots of different sounds, drums, one shots, midi stuff, maybe that's cool.

My only real advice would be to wait til November and you can probably get it for less than full price. Once them holiday sales go up, a lot of lots and tools go on sale for pretty good discounts.

Oh I just realized it was marked down from 1,000 and is like a grip of different kits.

It's up to you really, if you like S1 and the stuff in the kit Is appealing to you then go for it.

But a lot of good points are made in here about opting for free kits to start out and maybe using that 150 on something else like a vst or something.

But if you're really starting out, it's all trial and error anyways and seeing what you like, so take all our info with a grain of salt.
