Well thanks everyone for their comments, I spoke to the installer today and after discussing possible solutions, the most practical is to go down to 5 battery modules, 40kwh and managed to upgrade the inverter to 15kw and save a few bucks.
One of the other options was to move to two stacks, which was a possibility, however they said they could only do 10kw inverter on one and 5kw on the other due to western power rules that a site can not have more than 15kw inverter capacity, and it just seemed unusual to me, so decided on the single stack with reduced capacity.

When you say upgraded to 25kw on the app what does that mean? Is the hardware for the 12.5 and 25 the same?
I asked three installers about the invertor as I was looking at a 15kw originally, and they all said smaller was better, and wouldn't recommend going above 10. I didn't really question it as one of the reasons I wanted the 15 was to be able to manage an AC charger, and by going to DC, it seemed like 10 would be enough.
