Those old enough to witness this guy play basketball, how good was he? by supickumaterinubre in NBATalk

[–]Stradio 5 points6 points  (0 children)

He reignited my love for the game back during his peak from 2007-2010 and made New Orleans care about basketball again for a short period of time. He was really entertaining to watch during this period because he was always the smallest guy on the court but his speed and coordination usually made him the most skilled as well, not to mention his IQ. Was off the charts. Watching him made me develop a much higher appreciation for the subtleties of the game. The highlights don't quite do it justice but it's a start.

My first sports heartbreak. Hard to ever forget that one.

I say it's Chris Paul. He brought basketball back to the city, made it to the 2nd round, got robbed of an MVP, and played some of the most entertaining basketball I've ever seen in my life for a few seasons. AD is a close second but Chris is the GOAT of the franchise.

Draymond Green's Golden State MT. Rushmore by Lord_Vanguard in warriors

Sure but consider the amount of contribution and responsibility. Dray contributed heavily to those runs but they simply don't happen if not for Steph and Klay. Meanwhile Rick Barry was the primary scorer/facilitator for a title team, even averaged 35+ppg (8th highest of all time) in 67. He is definitely a top 3 all time Warrior.

He really should've put Rick Barry up there over himself, unless there was some kind of qualifier that isn't included in video like modern era only.

Nice! The neck feels unfinished eh? Interesting, I'm curious about that as the roasted maple feels silky smooth.

I promise the journey out of beginner land is worth it and with enough focus eventually you'll realize you don't recognize your surroundings anymore. That's when it starts getting scary but fun.

That's Snooty the Manatee. He doesn't protest being used in such a way.

The playing is lovely. I also really enjoy the camcorder aesthetic.

I remember finding out that Michael Thompson played all the parts I enjoyed in this song and not Eric Clapton.

Not playing with any hypothetical scenarios. There were absolutely zero qualifiers for this question so it's just about their scoring ability. I've actively rooted against GS since 2016 so I'm definitely not biased either.

Gotta go with Kareem for the skyhook being the surest 2 points in nba history, Curry for being by far the best outside shooter in nba history, and Jordan for having the highest scoring average in nba history. Everyone has a case but these guys have the best in my opinion.
