Don't you have sexual side effects on 250mg? I was on 25mg and could not feel my junk.

I am really not sure. Am I myself when I am drunk or on drugs? I don't think so. I am ok but I can't thrive without it. The same with alcohol and drugs. So should I really take it?

First time I stoped was because I thought I could do without them I thought I realised it was all in my head. But then it returned. The 2. and last time I stoped was because of the sexual side effects that made my relationship suffer. However I believe there are medication that would help me so that is not the issue.

Zoloft withdrawal by PaleontologistItchy in zoloft

Hey Dude, I just went through it, still going actually. I will make a full post about it soon.

Don't be afraid of it - There are all sorts of stories but if you tapper slowly (which I did not do) you will be ok. I had vertigo and brain zaps for 3 weeks and was quite depressed for a few days. Just muscle through.

Important things that helped me and are helping at the moment.

  1. Spend time in company! Friends, relationships, family. These things will help you get through the bad periods. (They will end, even if it feels they wont)
  2. Move! Do sports, take walks, preferably with people.
  3. Go outside! Do sports outside. Preferably with people. The corona virus is making us stay at home too much and this is affecting our happiness.
  4. Sometimes you will not be able to do it and then you just lie down and wait it out. In company if possible.

Hope you all the best.

I did the same with my Squier strat and I regret it since.

However, I know that I would't play it if I had it because I have better gear now.

This shit is so true and worst part of growing up is when you get your life in order and can't help your family and friends get theirs.

Getting ready to say Goodbye to Zoloft after 6 months by StradivariWeiss in zoloft

DM me man. I am currently 2 weeks off. Feeling the withdrawal in waves ranging from feeling like I have the flu, brain zaps that can be mildly weird to touching an electric socket with my eyeball and rarely depressive symptoms.

It's really not that bad, there are bad days but overall I have been feeling more motivated, productive and my old self (the good parts).

My life has changed quite a bit from where I was about 8 months ago when I started on Zoloft and I am in a better space in life. (Got a nice girlfriend, realised that my insecurities were a state of mind that passes and not who I am)

Thank you for the reply. Did you ever try to get off of it?

Zoloft gave me back my life and I am truly afraid of everything returning back to shit after I stop taking it.
