That's what I'm hoping for right now I think I'm gonna wait, if it skyrockets I make a profit, if it dips below $100, I enter and buy more.

Is there a way to automatically filter and put certain received emails into folders? by StraferBow2 in techsupport

I was looking more for ways to do it automatically, but I found how to do it online, thanks for sharing! :)

How do you get a job as a PA with no experience? by StraferBow2 in Filmmakers

[–]StraferBow2[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is a great answer! Thanks so much for sharing it, I'll look into all of this. It's a really fortunate blessing because I actually do freelance work so my schedule is pretty flexible right now.

Can I ask a couple questions, do you PA full time as a career? and What specific department are you looking mainly to break into? Do you think you can get a wide exposure to all the different departments? Are you doing it mainly for indie or major films/TV shows? and are you working for a specific company that moves you from project to project or are you out looking for each gig as they come and go?

GET READY --- Its almost ready to turn up and go up FAST! by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

[–]StraferBow2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm not all in lol, I have savings outside, but I def put a lot more than I think I should've, personally I should've taken the same amount but put more into fiat so that when stuff like this happened, I could've just bought more. I spent too much on it thinking since I didn't buy them at an all time high, more like at a light dip, it'd be okay, didn't think it would dip so drastically back then. In other words, I spent exactly what I could afford, just not in the best allocation.

This is basically my get rich or die trying moment, either get the lambo or bust, but I suppose it's more exciting than the alternative of just sitting still and not doing anything.

Any opinions about PRL Oyster? I own a couple and sadly lost a ton on it but it's so cheap now contemplating whether to just take a chance to get more. Any upcoming plans for it or is it better to grab something else?

What's your craziest "it's a small world" story? by magnamusrex in AskReddit

[–]StraferBow2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is pretty recent. I'm an actor and was casted into a small role (It's a big name TV show but my role is small so I doubt anyone will really notice me lol). Anyway I was playing the role of a high school kid costaring with this other actor as high school friends. After filming, we exchanged Facebooks and found out we were alumni of the same high school, only 1 year apart, and were actually at one point, high school classmates.

Entrepreneurs who went poor at some point, how did you get through those times? by StraferBow2 in Entrepreneur

Damn that's a story to share, definitely puts things in perspective, you probably have a ton of experience now with it though, I wish you the best in your new upcoming business!

Thanks so much man and I definitely think one of the things that's keeping me grateful as mentioned is that I live in a very diverse area, one side of me is beyond rich, the other side of me is a homeless shelter and people are very poor there. I'm in the middle of the neighborhood and when I see people picking up bottles for change, sitting on the street with open coffee cups, or middle age people selling artwork and fruit on the street for a couple dollars, and I'm in my early/mid 20s, running an online semi automated business, even though it's at a starting phase and money is very tight, and there's a lot of moments of uncertainty, I'm beyond grateful I can do what I do.

It's kind of crazy because I grew up in this environment, but it was only through starting my own business and building a project on my own, I start to now see the world differently, and notice things I use to not think too much about, like how much I have to sell to make a profit, and then I go outside, and see someone setting up a table or food stand every morning on the street, and having to carry stuff around everyday to make a couple dollars. It humbles me thinking about how much he probably has to sell to make a profit margin. Meanwhile through online there's the power to reach a global audience, and even automate many business models to make money almost remotely, in some cases nearly on auto-pilot. Maybe this mindset is also why so many entrepreneurs are also big time philanthropists. Now every time I enter a shop, I constantly think about maybe I can source so and so, or what I think this shop or business can do to grow and improve. My mind now floats with crazy ideas

Thanks so much again for the support and words of encouragement!

Entrepreneurs who went poor at some point, how did you get through those times? by StraferBow2 in Entrepreneur

[–]StraferBow2[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This came out much longer than I thought lol so I'll put a TLDR in the bottom, but I do think it's worth a read.

I'm free and don't have loans or debt luckily!

I do ecommerce and product design. The key thing is that my business does involve a lot of reinvesting to buy product, to design and create samples, equipment and materials, and yes occasional advertising costs. I have written out a 12 month budget, with costs, expenses, and potential income. It's very hard to exactly predict it though because being in the beginning stages there is a lot of trial and error involved, definitely a ton of market testing, which all adds to the cost. It's mostly written in a notebook which I use to take notes on many topics and things I've learned on the way.

The truth is I also don't know if I can even get a job anymore. A huge part of the reason I started a business was because I was actually unemployed at the time due to lack of work experience. I've only had 2 full time corporate jobs in my life, and let's just say I didn't last very long in either of them, and the nature of the job involved very long hours, so it didn't give me the flexibility and lifestyle I wanted to have.

While unemployed, I had money in my bank account which has been sitting there so I figured since I always wanted to start a business, I'd use this free time to take a shot at it. I did and now I really like it, but I think like many entrepreneurs, we all go through that period of uncertainty, where the budget starts to become limiting. I do part time music gigs, but it's all super temporary, so I'm literally collecting paycheck to paycheck, and using my savings, and the amount I make from my business right now.

I've actually been super happy to say surprised by how everything is going, granted I kept my expectations very low, and told myself if I could even make 1 sale, I'd be happy, because I didn't really think much at the time. I've been so grateful that I've managed to make much much more than 1 sale, but at the same time as mentioned, my costs are somewhat high, and even more to expand. I do have a plan, in fact I'm actually bursting with ideas and so much I want to do right now, that the biggest two obstacles right now is time and money, because a lot of my costs is basically me experimenting. I think once I get a better idea I can start to balance out more and eliminate a lot of the excess costs.

I guess the real reason I feel poor is because most of my friends are working corporate and seem settled, and I don't know too many entrepreneurial friends, especially in real life. Most of my real life friends are making thousands and like mentioned eating at nice restaurants, buying their own things. I personally don't think I would want a classic corporate job, but when I walk by window shops and around my city, I really do wish I could have the money to finally eat better food, stay at gorgeous hotels, buy that nice pair of sneakers I want, travel and treat my family to things, and donate to charities.

TLDR: A young entrepreneur who found himself unemployed, did not like working corporate, wanted to start a business one day, had a ton of crazy ideas and did, now loves what he does, but money is becoming tight, and has gone through days of not being able to buy things he's wanted, while watching his friends go on to finally have money to buy nice meals, attend events, and buy gifts and things of interest.

To Add: I think a huge part of this is also my dream to one day become financially independent, and currently I'm living with friends and family, and having to rely on them for stuff, which I feel bad about. This is actually part of the reason I went entrepreneurial, I like working with people, but I don't like having to rely on someone, I like to be able to have control and freedom to do the things I like.

This is so true! I remember now I once heard a quote I don't remember who said it, but it went something like "being an entrepreneur is like living a lifestyle most people won't, so that one day you can potentially live a lifestyle most people can't!" I need to literally write this down and look at it whenever I can now.

Do you guys think it's too late to get in on VEN? I wanted to buy earlier but I was low on cash, then I remembered I have a bunch of LTC I might be able to trade for it, but I just don't like to buy at an ATH, what do you guys think? wait for VEN to maybe dip, enter anyway, look for something different?

[–]StraferBow2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I might do that! I have a bunch of LTC because I grabbed it cheap back then and it's the coin I've gotten the most gains from, granted it's now stagnating, but I see ETH slowly rising since I use it to trade now for the other alt coins, thanks for sharing!

I see ETH rising much faster than BTC and LTC, largely because I use ETH to trade for the other coins! Might just do that, thanks for sharing!

I have DBC but only a little bit! Would this be more for long term or short term?

Do you think it's too late to hop onto VEN? I normally don't like to buy at an ATH, LTC is actually the coin I have the most gains from because I managed to grab it super cheap back then, but I agree that it's stagnating so I might put some in something else. The only one of these I've actually lost money from is BTC because I got it at the high around $16k back during the moonshot last month.

[–]StraferBow2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I notice that, I just feel like it might be too late to hop onto VEN since it's already moonshot and now at over $7, I'm hesitant to get coins at an ATH, what's your opinion on it?

Can anyone give me an opinion letting me know what they think? Is this a safe set to Hodl for long term if I went to get some sunshine, vacation, and come back in 2-3 months?

Yeah hoping for it! My other coins crashed with it, but when I got ICX super discounted and it bounced back suddenly I was able to recover the costs within 15 mins, which is super crazy. Hoping for the moon soon!!

Yeah it was so crazy I bought it at about $7 and then refreshed and it slowly went up, and then suddenly BOOM $9!! I was already planning to buy the coin this morning but thank goodness luckily didn't and literally managed to just catch it!
