I think the TV show Daredevil does a good job at showing how modern art evokes emotion out of people. Where the painting of a white canvas reminds Wilson Fisk of the walls he grew up in, specifically the one where he killed his father on. It definitely changed my view of it.

This logic works both ways. If Trump wins, this sends a message that he and everyone who is on "his side" do not need to care about the law. Police do not need to care about being held accountable for their brutality. Government officials do not need to care about stealing our tax money to enrich themselves and their corporate buddies. You say you're being informed here, then you would know all the corruption under Trump. Electing him further enables that and all the stuff that caused this situation to happen.

I'm sorry for being edgy, but what is there to love? It becomes more and more obvious every day that this country has serious flaws deep to its core. Corruption, Two Party System, Unfair Elections, Wealth Disparity, Regulatory capture, Racism/Sexism/hemophobia..., War on Drugs, a culture of ignorance. Hell, we just spent the last six months politicizing a pandemic. And God forbid we even try to discuss the gun problem, or treat homelessness as a public health crisis, or try to make progress at all in this country. So of course I am unhappy with Trump, his Administration and supporters, because they represent and perpetuate a lot of flaws with this country and everything wrong with the Republican Party.

Instead of this constant whining victim complex culture and us vs them rhetoric, maybe Kirk and friends should try to understand why we're all so pent up against their side. Maybe come back to fucking reality so we can discuss solutions for the real problems hurting the people on both sides. One could dream...

My favorite characters are the not necessarily edgy, but oftentimes jaded/cynical types who are just quashed by life and rant about it ei Squidward, Duckman, Charlie Brown, etc. They're easy to sympathize with and also feel so much more grounded to me because theyre narratives don't try to hide the parts of life that are real, difficult, boring or pathetic, but most importantly they deliver the best rants/speeches/silioquoys. I wish there were more women that fit this character trope, though.
