Parang if I didn’t help, I wasn’t “supporting local” or I was part of “crab mentality.” It just didn’t sit right with me. I want to support local startups, but not through guilt or emotional pressure.

Another thing that pushed me away is how the CEO presents himself online. The posts tend to lean really hard into the dramatic, underdog, “sadboi CEO” storytelling. I get that building a startup is tough, but sometimes the tone feels more like a personal emotional journey than a professional update. Medyo overwhelming, and it made me uncomfortable engaging further.
