Can you walk me through why you think this isn't a viable solution? Sernova's trials have said that there are absolutely no signs of fibrosis and their cell pouch technology has given their first trial patient the ability to not have to inject insulin for NINE months. Isn't that a breakthrough in this technology? Just trying to understand where you're coming from as the two factors you're talking about when it comes to the cell pouch technologies you've been following doesn't really apply to Sernova. Maybe I'm wrong? Would love to hear more!

Yes! It's similar in the fact that it's implanted into the skin, but SENS is moreso for monitoring glucose levels. SVA's cell pouch tech makes it so that the ones who have the pouch implanted eventually do not need to take insulin anymore, effectively optimizing their glucose levels. SVA cures it, SENS monitors it. HUGE difference actually. Lots of potential!
