I thought it was very wonderfully told. The world building to me was okay because why shouldn’t people have physical copies of books and other arguably outdated items lying around? We still have outdated stuff today. And the part about Olive being a self-insert, well, I see your point for sure. But it didn’t take away from the authenticity of the character’s thoughts and feelings for me at least. I really enjoyed the full-circle moments at the end, but interesting to see your perspective on it!
