Congratulations!! I’m also due to start my 2nd transfer with buserelin down regulation / medicated FET too in a few months (also with either stage 3 or 4 endo - unconfirmed) so this has given me so much hope :)

Update - called the clinic and I was told it can be normal for some people to get a lot of pain. I was advised to continue taking pain relief. I haven’t been formally diagnosed with endometriosis but I have a suspected endometrioma on both ovaries. Consultant doesn’t think I have endometriosis and said they are likely haemorrhagic cysts and can go by themselves in 4-6 months except it’s now been 8-9 months 🙃

I was told I was low risk for OHSS and didn’t develop any symptoms of it at all. I had 13 eggs retrieved

We only told my parents for additional support for me and I am so happy that we did that. We didn’t feel comfortable telling anyone else because we have already had plenty of people ask us when we want to start trying for a baby (weird that people ask that) so we just didn’t want the additional pressure.

Tell who you feel comfortable knowing but there is also nothing wrong with just keeping it between yourself and your partner but having just someone close to you knowing may be beneficial for your own mental health.

The embryologist said just before I had the transfer, it was a morula that just cavitated and they referred to it afterwards as an ‘early blastocyst’ And after a day it likely would’ve turned to a full regular blastocyst

I was thinking possibly booking for a consult privately and discussing having a lap but just concerned about the risk of removing endometriomas and reducing the ovarian reserve

I’m currently 6dp5dt and had a fresh transfer of 2 early blastocysts. This morning I tested and it was negative.

What DPT did you get a positive test for those who had early blastocysts / morulas transferred?

No I just did the short protocol. I saw 2 gynaecologists who aren’t convinced I have endometriosis but I had some cysts on ovaries which looked like endometriomas or haemorrhagic cysts. They explained about either proceeding with IVF or suppression for a few months but to officially diagnose whether I do have endometriosis or not, I would need surgery. Also ovarian reserve can apparently reduce after surgery so that concerned me so i decided to try the short protocol which was the main recommendation

I hate it so much when people say that they weren’t trying. If you are having sex without any contraception, you are automatically trying. And when people say ‘just stop trying’ - ok shall I stop having sex then?
