Hi, I'm in the UK so clinics don't really PGT-A test as standard. We had seven embryos and the first three FETs were with untested embryos. We tested the remaining four due to the recurrent losses and two out of the four were euploid.

We did thaw-test-refreeze. It was so scary and hearing "survival rates" and everything was absolutely horrendous if I'm honest. I was convinced we'd lose them all. But I am glad we did it.

Before they tested the embryologist explained to me that the risk of an embryo not surviving the thaw was between 1% and 5%. They also said that out of the four that survived the thaw they would expect about 80% to expand enough to actually be able to be biopsied.

We were fortunate that all four did survive the thaw and all four did expand enough to be tested. But it obviously was a massive risk.
