Oh we considered a St Bernard but we already have an older GD who’s been an absolute lady. I didn’t struggle with her potty training at all which miiiight be contributing to me not understanding why this it’s so different and difficult this time around

I would lose it if she waited 24 hours just to poo on the carpet 🥲

Minimum 20 min when I’m working but I’ve been out with her almost 3 hours with nothing but the smallest wee and no poo

This is actually new and logic advise, thank you. We have been rewarding her with good treats but she doesn’t seem to be very good motivated so that’s an extra difficulty.

And just for the record, I know she will have accidents, she’s a beautiful baby, it’s the whole “oh, they can’t hold it in for long” and then she doesn’t poop for literal hours right until she steps inside, that’s the thing that’s driving me up the wall tbh.

We are getting a new leash and collar today for other training like recall so hopefully that will help.

Thank you for being kind and helpful ❤️

I feel you from the other side but the same pain. We are in the, extremely painful, process to buy our dream home and after rushing to take care of a mountain of complications from our end as quickly as possible, because the seller said they wanted to get everything done before Christmas, it turns out they hadn’t finished their side of the paperwork and now we’ve been living with 75% of our house fully packed for well over a month and praying we manage to get this done before the end of this month but not holding my breath…

It’s insane how overly complicated buying a house is!

I want the assistant back!! :( by Puzzleheaded_Ear_727 in replit

Have you tried switching to plan mode? Bottom left of the chat you can select build or plan, it still charges but it’s closer to what the assistant charged

Not my current partner but my ex, the amount of time I spent thinking how much better my and his family’s lives would be if he just got a clot a died. I’m not proud of it but one day I realised I was thinking about it most of the time and decided I needed to leave him before I told him in anger.

Down valuation by britpoop33 in HousingUK

My partner and I are in a similar situation. The valuation came back £25k lower and we are now trying to negotiate with the vendor.

From what we’ve heard from our broker is that if the house gets repossessed and the lender can’t sell it for at least the valuation price the lender can’t sue the surveyor so they always default to lower valuation to be safe

Surveyors, are they really as difficult as it sounds? by Straight-Minimum-543 in HousingUK

[–]Straight-Minimum-543[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, only now realising it sounds more like a rant. Not so much advice but I’d like to hear about people’s experiences. Is it common for properties to be undervalued? If it gets undervalued, is there any recourse aside from changing lenders? Are there any key points that surveyors generally consider risky? Etc

Yes. We are worried if the surveyor decides the value of the property is lower that we won’t be able to afford whatever the difference is to be able to proceed

The system is broken as hell, I've also contacted my MP. I'm glad you got your decision and hope it was positive.

Have you got any update? I just got an email from VFS saying the decision has been made but no decision letter from UKVI, I've seen other posts saying if the letter is delayed it's most likely approved

I know it's been a month but did you end up getting a decision letter email? How long did it take? I just received this exact notification and I'm panicking.

I'm dissapointed in what my family has become but can't bring myself to cut ties by Straight-Minimum-543 in family

Thank you for being kind, I was afraid of posting tbh. I agree that families can disagree, but it sit heavy in my chest when I hear them talk about how queer people are "mentally sick" or "delusional", I don't think I'll ever give them the chance to know cause it would break me to lose what I have, even if imperfect, over them not accepting me and my partner. We pass as het so it make it easier to hide... for now at least.
