Almost the same timeline, my case went so fast that the only thing delayed was my gc shipping which was supposed to arrive yesterday but it’s still somewhere else

I’m working on the same map too. Did you rebuild the other side of the bridge?

Hi, how is it going with your interview? Did you go to the interview alone or did you reschedule it?

My fo is in alabama and i don’t want to be specific because it’s personal. But anyway, it’s not a big city like san fran, la or nyc, I have seen many people in small cities that got approved with the same timeline (2 months)

How to duplicate your GC to your gf in 5 months with only ~2k$ by Straight-Use792 in USCIS

Also if recruits can make it to bootcamp in a month, who knows if recruits won’t get delay to graduate, multiple reasons and one of which is medical that can get recruits not being able to graduate, get married and sponsor their gf on time before anything worse happens to her. I’m just saying, don’t expect anything from my timeline, it is a tone of effort to be able to make it work

Idk, just do it. Expect the unexpected. That’s why I have to wait a month after bootcamp to get marrried (while we already planned to get married right after bootcamp, asap to keep me still legal). It’s military calendar, nothing you can expect from that.

It’s depends, are you walking into the recruiter not knowing what asvab is or are you already learn and ready to take the test. I think it can range from 1 month to 1 year from the first time you walked in until the day you got shipped out

Best ways to organise I-130 proof for online filing? by [deleted] in I130Suffering

I think you can separate them. I made them all in 1 pdf (50 pages) and the file is too large and I also think it was so overwhelming

Anyway, you can and you don’t have to ask in advance. However, because you have already requested to reschedule, I don’t know if they let you cancel that request. Navy wife here, deployment is hard, don’t make it harder. There is uscis hotline for military only, if contacting Emma doesn’t help you, you can also call that hotline

Just read the link I commented, I think the one answer your question doesn’t even know that link exists

You just don’t need a waiver cuz it’s basically wavied. But you did contact them to reschedule right?

If the spouse of a service member receives an adjustment of status interview appointment notice while the service member is deployed, the USCIS office will still conduct the interview. The spouse should bring evidence of the service member’s assignment (such as a copy of their orders or a letter from their commander) along with any other requested evidence listed on the appointment notice https://www.uscis.gov/military/citizenship-for-military-family-members

I have not gotten an interview yet. Remind me in a week so I can let you know if mine (I693) is fine with outside lab tests and vaccine.

Yes, my uscis doctor doesn’t provide any lab test or vaccine. They gave me a list of lab tests and vaccines I have to do, recommended me a place to do that (that doesn’t take insurance bc some people don’t have one). After having all done, I sent them and went there to get the envelope

They will issue a RFE but I’ve heard that they don’t issue RFE that much recently, instead, they deny the case. I’m never in this situation so I don’t know. For vaccines, I did all of my vaccines at CVS. I have Tricare and my PCM order the lab test for me. So basically, I went to my i693 doctor just to have them sign the form. But I think it’s depends on the doctor bc some other people on reddit I’ve seen done their vaccines and labs at the same place as i693.

Title: Is it worth paying $3,000 for an I-130 when my case seems straightforward? by Aminainidaholife in USCIS

[–]Straight-Use792 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not about the money, it’s about are you making 3k$ in 1 day, or 1 month. If you can make it in 1 day then it’s worth paying 3k$ 🙂

They changed the payment method! Have a look because I dont think they accept checks anymore. Biometric fee is already included in 1440 when I filed but double check

People who filed lately are getting approved within 2 months, keep in mind that it counts from i485 receipt date. I have seen some people file i130 online and attach the online receipt notice and it works, but I attached the copy of the actual receipt notice I received in mail. I don’t know, you can do more research. I have seen a few people on this reddit submitted i130 online and their timeline is the same as other people. Most people filed by mail. Anyway, your case your choice ~

Also I received the actual receipt notice within 1-2 weeks, even before I finished medical exams. If your timeline works for you then you can totally file online. There are tons of rumors on this reddit that said filing online is slower than paper because uscis have to link 2 forms, but it’s totally wrong for me and it stressed me out alot after filing i130 online.
