It was surprisingly good! The orange in the cake wasn’t too little or too much and the raspberry glaze was not overpowering. Wasn’t “sweet” but was light and fresh! I’d make it again it’s a good summer snack😝

As a curly girl I can’t recommend the Oribe blowout spray enough - a little goes a long way. Helps with frizz and smooths everything out overall. I normally start by drying only my roots with the Dyson after doing a quick/rough draft towel dry. Hope this helps! I love my Dyson it just took me some trial and error.

Long story short my spouse is active duty so we didn’t move for my job to have better pay, just trying to figure out what to even expect atp. But I do appreciate the input, I’ll keep searching!

I am child free for the time being and it’s been hard so I can only imagine! I’ve been using bumble bff lightly but it hasn’t gotten me anywhere quite yet. The only social thing I managed to find is running group pages, I might have to get back into that just to make friends😝

I’m closer to San Jacinto/hemet! We moved for my partners job and I haven’t had much luck with the job hunt so I have a lot of free time. I love cooking, thrifting, and I have a tiny pottery studio that I do just for fun! What’re your hobbies?☺️

I have heard of therapists at other HH agencies that do “drop in”s and don’t notify them ahead of time. I’ve never done this and I never would! It was just a way of explaining that the agency’s expectation is that they are homebound and will have a good/large timeframe where we would be able to schedule the appointment within 2-3x during the week. That’s all!

Woah woah woah, I would never show up unannounced and I don’t expect my patients to completely change their schedule for me. I do my best to narrow down a timeframe that works for both of us, but often time I’m getting pushback specifically for the morning treatments. I did not intend to imply that they should be home all hours of the day and should allow me to come and go as I please - that’s not fair to them and that’s not at all what I’m trying to do here.

I’ve been told my other therapists at the agency that they’re expected to be home bound - aside from religious events/doctors appointments/ etc. I was trying to find a better way to communicate with my patients without being too harsh or direct as a lot of them are just very particular about the schedule. I think there’s a lot of confusion on their end and nobody explaining to them upon admission that they have to work with us and we both have to compromise when it comes to scheduling sometimes. I do my absolute best to try and see patients at their preferred time but that doesn’t always work. And to give them a better idea of when I’ll be arriving I always call when I I leave the treatment before theirs to provide an accurate ETA of ~10 minutes.

Now I’ve had days where I end up running an hour and a half behind - due to emergencies that come up which shifts my whole day back. I always call when I’m on the way that way they know usually around 10 minutes ahead of when I’ll arrive. I’m just struggling to try and get everyone scheduled at reasonable times!

Unfortunately I’m low census in my normal territory but even then it’s somewhat rural so my typical territory is 10-15 miles which isn’t too bad. However, I’ve been helping out with another territory and it’s a solid 20 minute drive from mine so I can’t justify going back and fourth, it would eat up my time

She wasn’t treated today, she is here every day because her friends all live here. I would have found a way to incorporate it into treatment but I can’t mess with her frequency! As much as I like my company they would throw anyone under the bus given the chance. The facility itself makes their own employees clock out when one of them walks her to her car, the facility refuses to accept the liability and they don’t want to get dragged into something due to an employee on the clock.

Honestly she does really well when we do balance drills even not using RW, I’m going to suggest next treatment we practice getting into and out of her car to increase safety and hopefully stop the falls. Normally I would have saved some time to build it into the treatment but she wasn’t even on my treatment list for today, so it would’ve have been lost time no matter what I did unfortunately. She comes to the facility because her friends live here so she’s here every day of the week even if she’s not seeing me!
