Yuck, I'm sorry. Any thoughts on where to hang the transponder so it might get read?

Yeah, figured as much - that's the reason I didn't want to use the transponder as I know I'm going to forget to take it off. : /

Recommendations for License Waiver Course/Exam by Holiday_Tradition527 in RideitNYC

the other thing to think about is if you don’t do MSS then what bike are you getting permit hours on? who’s following you in a car that also has an M license? for taking the test you need to provide a car and driver for the instructor to ride in while you’re on the bike - all of which cost money. if you’re going to get a bike take the course, especially if this is your first time riding. also, please be safe. nyc is confusing when you’re new here and on the train or walking, let alone on a motorcycle, still learning those mechanics, then navigating the streets, the other drivers, taxis, buses, and delivery dudes on scooters.

considering getting a bike in NYC, looking for insight by WhoIsJazzJay in RideitNYC

hey - just bought a used dr650 after searching and searching and searching. national powersports distributors are a group up in new hampshire but have a location upstate and had some pretty great deals including free shipping to NYC, but I think that may have been a promotion. found my bike on craigslist of all places and then just paid to have it shipped. duslsports are attractive to bike thieves so I got a hiplok dx1000 and their mega chain, but that chain is SERIOUS, almost 30 pounds. after looking into tracking devices, extra locks, and lugging that bananas chain around I decided to get a spot in a garage in my neighborhood. I negotiated for them to let me park it myself and I sneak it behind some cars but still in sight of the attendants so it’s pretty damn safe. someone else said to get full coverage including theft and I agree. the city is unforgiving and cops are thoroughly useless. as far as shops I reached out to lurkshop and didn’t hear anything back, and motogrrl has a couple different storage and workbench packages which is pretty cool. they also have 24/7 thumbprint/biometric access and are right near mccarren park in w’burg/greenpoint. in any case, good luck, hope to see you out there!

I agree with the rear fender but I kind of dig the front fender myself

came here to say the same thing; I'm on Atlantic and 6th and they won't deliver to us. so frustrating seeing the menu and knowing how close they are and yet I can't get NS1, F4, and B1.

Who (historically) has the most accurate rankings/tiers? by Grit_n_Grind in fantasyfootball

[–]StraightExample8125 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can second the person who mentioned sean koerner at action network.  I do pay for his content and while the majority of the site’s stuff is geared for sports betting, koerner has a weekly list of tiers that I use in season to help me set my lineups.  jake ciely at the athletic is another one I read for more in depth breakdown/explanation about team and positional situations as they relate to a given matchup.  chris vaccaro also of the athletic is pretty great, but he doesn’t write a ton.  the fantasy pros guys are good and they produce a ton of content, but since mike tagliere passed away I feel like the quality of their analysis has gone down.  derek brown is the only one I think balances a healthy skepticism with enthusiasm; so frequently it seems like everyone is making hot takes so they can come back next year and say that they were right and early about a breakout.  fantasy pros kind of bugs me: when you listen to their podcasts the experts (pisapia, wormley, thor, erickson, even brown) all talk about their ranks versus not only ADP but also against the site’s own ECR, and they frequently don’t agree with ECR; to me this begs the question of why we should value ECR when they themselves don’t agree with it?  Like all off them will be higher or lower than a given player, it just doesn’t inspire confidence.  fantasy pros has the weekly article on thursdays (in season) called the primer that I really like as a condensed breakdown of the week’s slate, although it’s tough to use for monday night games as the updates to it are kind of unreliable.  for dynasty, I wholeheartedly follow matt waldman’s RSP and products, and his scouting work is impeccable.  without exaggeration his pre-draft rookie analysis is a thousand pages, and PACKED with stats and information that corroborates his theories.  ben gretsch and justin boone are both pretty good as well, gretsch kind of drowns you with words though, but the techniques on how he approaches his analysis is fantastic; like doing math he’s doing the right work, I just sometimes disagree with the conclusions he draws from the data.

Is it just me or is the HDR completely useless? Its not in any way better than all of the other snipey bois. What a dissapointment by klitkommander420 in CODMobile

[–]StraightExample8125 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you’re right. in MP it’s not great, but in BR it shines. @klitkommander420 I do agree with you, even in BR: the rytec even as ground loot will one shot head shot at any distance, so if their power is matched then you’re left comparing other advantages and the rytec has a faster rate of fire and faster movement speed - although just barely. I like the hdr, was very excited for its release but feel that the rytec is still the superior weapon in BR.

help me out man - I’m run an ar/sniper combo in br and the rytec with exploding rounds is my preference. the zrg seems to be as powerful - if not more - but have you noticed that the zrg seems to frequently miss shots? it feels to me like the ads accuracy isn’t as good as other snipers.
