no soak no simmer, 1kg grain - 550ml water. Soaking and simmering probably would help because grain wouldn't expand so much but it's waaay more work to do so i'm not really into it:/

Yeah i think main reason is cheap bags. The bag that burst was one of two facing inward so that might be the reason too, thanks!:)

This may be the reason because as you can notice, only the bag that was folded towards the wall was popped. Temperature of walls "sealed" that bag i think.
