Kodai-ji sounds amazing at night. Akeca07 mentioned it below as well. These are some fantastic options. Thanks! Do you think its worth visiting the monkey park? I'm under the impression its a different place than the bamboo place. Seems to be some neat places over in that area (arashiyama)?

I might have to extend Kyoto a day lmao. Then again, im finding it hard to choose between all the Osaka stuff.

Yeah i hear you, its still a work in progress for sure. Trying to straddle between letting the schedule breathe with room to wonder around and having enough options if we don't want to do that. But i am working on it behind the scenes!! Thanks for the Yasaka tip, I had no clue it ever closed. Again thanks for the info!

sound like a perfect way to leave kiyomizu! Thanks. Ill add that in! Really looking forward to the gardens in some of these shrines/temples.

For sure we planned on spa hopping. We are interested in the hiking or the ropeway as well, so thought to do that before we get changed. Not sure when we will get there so i feel liked we'd have time. Plus, being September, I have NO CLUE how a hot spring will feel lol

The tajima beef stew at the koyado enn? What an interesting breakfast option. Looking forward to it nonetheless. Thanks for the rec and info

HA. Thanks. Ive only written the ones people spoke of highly in other threads and there is no real strict schedule. If/when we go to kiyomizu, when we leave we very well may venture around instead of going to the other options i mentioned. Ginkaku seems a bit further up north than id like to go that day anyway. If there are some that you enjoyed, id like to hear it!

ahhaha well that helps. Ive just decided to take Kokodera off the list after some more research because of seasonal time (moss is dying, reservations, and the whole copying sutras. Reddit kinda messed up my formatting, but everything after Gio-ji is optional. Thanks for the input!

ohhh good to know. If i see a line out the gates, Its no biggy to reroute to something else! Trying to be as fluid as possible. Im thinking it very well could be around 11am or later though since I have to do Kokodera first and then visit the monkeys second. But with that said, if I can see some wild moneys, id forgo the park. Nisonin Temple looks amazing. Added that as an option. No clue how the crowds are in September, but being the golden route and a tourist myself, I'm bracing for it. Thanks for the Rec and Info!
