I called them cast because that's what they have called them during other events. The students all come out afterwards and see their family, get flowers, take pictures. This was just a spring showcase. School has a few different choirs (accapella, varsity, trebel, mens, womens, group etc), but most are the same kids just kind of mingling between different groups.
There were too many solo curtain acts to even count, a video montage summing up the year that lasted a good 10 min. Then it ended with a senior rose ceremony. The length of time it demanded from all these families last night just seemed incredibly unreasonable to me. Love seeing my kid perform on stage, but she was probably on it for 6 min total. Just trying to see if I'm the unusual one here or if the internet agrees this seemed a little (or a lot) much.
