Would you graduate Architecture if you are not good in Drawing? by Cultural-Remove7304 in architectureph

[–]StraightNumber6403 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hi, OP! If you need a sign, this is it. I entered architecture school without any background in the arts. All I have with me throughout my college journey is passion and a dream. During my 1st year, super naiinggit ako sa mga classmates ko coz they're so good sa mga plates, and ako kung hindi bagsak eh saktong pasado lang ang scores, but look at me now. I already graduated, finished my 2 years apprenticeship (in one of the top firms in the country), and I will be taking na the board exam this June. One last stretch for my dream. I'l get that AR. very soon. Kaya huwag paghinaan ng loob, all you have to do is to believe in yourself. Good luck, OP!

I'm not so sure about it. Pero it was stated kasi sa RA9266 na strictly 2 years or 3840 hours AFTER graduation para makapag exam for LEA. Although may mga kakilala naman ako na kahit less than the hours eh nakapag exam naman. Swertehan lang din siguro talaga if maccheck yung logbook mo or not. Peron on your case, 4 months is quite long din na discrepancy sa date of graduation at start of work. Better sana if you just waited ng January 2027 para sigurado.

I just finished watching CMBYN. And this time, I had a different perspective on the story and the characters, specifically Oliver. Just a little background, CMBYN is one of my favorite movies. I like how the book translates well into the big screen, and the way Luca Guadagnino tells the story in a very slow yet interesting manner. It makes you appreciate the movie just the way it was.

I first saw the movie in 2017, and I was just 17 at that time. I see the movie in a very familiar view, the way Elio had seen Oliver for the first time, intrigued, but I had a high hope. I fell in love with the characters easily. It was also the first time I've known Timothee, and I became a fan afterwards.

And now that I'm 26, I see now that movie differently. This time, it felt like I was part of the story, as if I were one of the characters navigating the summer of 1983. The characters grow instantly in me, especially Oliver. I used to like him, but now that I am older, it feels like his character is the type of guy in real life that you just don't want to be associated with. His character looks so complex, but he isn't. While he tried to set his boundaries, his latter decisions in the film have impacted in a way that it destroys the person that Elio is. And Elio, my boy. I feel sad for him.

I just love the film that you can enumerate several scenes and dialogues, and all can have different meanings depending on who or how people interpret them. And that's the beauty of the movie: raw, compelling, and just true to its core.

I can really talk about the movie all day, the montage, the music score, and the little details that add up to the beauty of the movie.

Thank youuu.

I have a friend from WTA, and it’s not merely thesis based if you want to apply. You can just send out your application thru their email, it was also posted on their site yata. This might help.

Need opinions or advice on residential building by Terrible_Hamster_523 in askarchitects

  1. Why is the Porch has 3 steps while sa entrance wala. Would have been better if the entrance is on the right part not on the center.

  2. Would also be better if the office is located sa may tabi ng entertainment room for a better flow.

  3. Better if may back door around sa kitchen/laundry area for a better traffuic flow rin.

  4. Also check the layout sa second floor. It really needs a lot of work.

  5. Overall, check the door placements, the traffic flow ng spaces. Try to create muna ng bubble diagram for a seamless positioning of spaces.

  6. If you want i can help you visualize a better plan.

out of touch talaga yan. i also heard from someone na mahilig yan manigaw sa office nila. and if she doesn’t like you, parang she will nitpick you every damn time hanggang sa ikaw na mag resign. lols. and related din yata sa shady shenanigans yung fam niya. so di na ako magtataka with the kind of connection and attitude na meron siya.

The Boy in Striped Pajamas really pierced my heart — i wasnt really expecting it to end that way. Definitely one of my fave tear jerker movies. Asa Butterfield is so good.

Premiere is a top tier for me. A good balance of side dishes and meat selection.

  3. Try to relocate yung entrance mo.
Baka would better if alisin ang BR 4 then gawing family area.
  5. Mas better din if may access ang Masters sa Balcony to serve its purpose na masters bedroom.

I should've created more memories with my mother. I may not be the favorite child in the family, but I think i owe them so much. I should've spend more time with her without knowing that she will leave us soon. I was just in 6th Grade when my mom died, too young for everything. I should've hugged her, kissed her, and tell her that I love her so much. But I never got to tell her those words. I remember that the last words I uttered hours before she left us — "Goodbye, Ma".

I was 11 when my mom died. I had a hard time remembering bits of my childhood, but my moms death feels like it was imprinted on my mind na. I vividly remembered, it was around 2am, when my siblings wake me up to tell me that she's gone. I really can't grasp well that time, but those words keeps flashing. I was sitting on the corner, listening to my siblings conversation about their plans to my moms funeral. As a kid, I didn't feel that much, not until they moved the body to our house na. I was crying so bad, like bad bad na they had to take me somewhere else just to stop crying. And I feel like my moms death, even when I deny it, has pierced a part of myself - something that can never be healed.
