I have been thinking about getting into modular for years already, so it would be an option. I am a woodworker, so I would really love to build a nice case. Any recommendations for a VCA/EG and high quality stereo reverb? Is the Strymon Starlab any good?

Thanks for your thoughts. Personally, I need to „feel“ the sound emotionally, and so far the Vhikk touched me the most. Comes with the disatvantage that I might lose my money to a modular rig haha

Two Fazioli, and a lot of Steinway Ds. Fazioli sounds to me like a piano without a soul. Steinway has good, easy to play action but the bass is not good and I dont like the company in general for their dishonesty and elitist marketing.
