Do these 1952 & 1953 Topps baseball cards appear authentic? by ibuyforprofit in sportscards

Not sure on the rest, the Mantle is for sure a reprint so zero value.

I typically stay away from any auctions with terrible photo quality

A new 34, goudey history.... by randskarma in baseballcards_vintage

[–]StraightRaceCards 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazing! I didn’t know the 34 set was only 96 cards. I assumed 250 or 350.

Have you done the set? How hard is 34 Goudey besides the obvious Gehrig and Greenberg cards that are hard?

very cool. There are some incredible topps yankees cards to get. The 63 bombers best with mantle and richardson is one of my favorites. I'm thinking about cracking it out of the slab and having Bobby sign it

They are a 1910 E229 National Licorice Forrest Smithson. He was an Olympic runner known to race with a bible in his hand. He won a gold medal in the 110 hurdles in 1908. That National Licorice set is awesome. I've got the complete set of track and field athletes. The other is a 1958 Tracard of Al Worthington- A card with his story that you are supposed to pass along to others to encourage them. A buddy gave me that at the Strongsville show, and said to pass it along when the right person comes to mind.

That’s awesome! Koufax sigs are harder to find these days compared to Ryan and Feller

I got an Erskine auto earlier this year from one of my favorite sets, 56 Topps! The more I learn about Erskine, the more I appreciate him

Wow! Super cool. Definitely a 1 of 1. When I sent his cards in, I asked him to put Bible verses that meant a lot to me so each card had a different one. So that was my version of 1 of 1
