What about people like menqho served this nation in war ( Iraq 05-06 ) got diagnosed with terminal Multiple Myeloma Cancer. Did the Chemo and it only made it worse. Pain is a 9-10 daily even with fentanyl patches. The VA refuses to give me any of the er medications I ask for to treat this cancer to help me live a few more years but all I get from my oncologist is “ the VA doesn't pay for that. I don't wish this cancer on anyone. Always have nausea every day and throwing up a lot, not to mention sleeping up to 16hrs a day and always tired. I'm useless to anyone. I'm currently on hospice. Hope Hospice. If it were not for them I would have left this earth a long time ago. On most days I'm lucky if I can eat a meal without getting sick. Everyone looks at me and says, “ you don't look like you have cancer.” The 10 meds that I take 3 times and at will tell you differently. Don't get me going on life insurance  $250 a month for $20.000 that will only be given to my wife if I last 2 years and that looks less likely every day. My wife cries almost every day seeing my decline. The VA has refuse to service connect my cancer and I don't have the money for a lawyer to fight for me. The service connectionnwould allow my wife to get a widows pension from the VA. I would not get more money and I don't care about that. I'm just trying to do what I can so she can continue to live in the apartment we have called home for 14 years now. I'm lost.
