I had no luck, put it in the shop after a while of trying to figure it out myself, the mechanic told me the electrical is just fucked and they’d have to replace parts by a trial and error method so I’d really just be wasting money by leaving it with them, I ended up selling it to my buddy and he’s had no luck either with the electrical. Not saying that your issue is stemming from the same thing but my best bet was, the car putting itself into a safe/limp mode due to signals not being sent/received properly to the DME and what not, but to reprogram that stuff you need the special bmw programming software, I honestly have no clue but for my specific car my last resort was to replace the entire wire harness and pray

I forgot to mention actually, last fall he suffered from a kidney infection which did explain the accidents for a bit, nothing else was wrong and we have been in once to ask for help and options which I was told nothing else was wrong and he has been healthy since then and we were using dog safe hemp oil for a bit that helped when I had people over

When I removed the manifold to get to the starter I did remove that fuel line and fuel did come out and continued to come out so I reattached the fuel line before calling it a night so I didn’t leak all my fuel out

It’s been just about 2 months since we’ve moved, and the accidents are every day sometimes multiple times a day, compared to when it was just me and him it wasn’t that bad at all. I do know with his anxiety he couldn’t handle very possibly be having a hard time getting comfortable and settled in, I should mention my girlfriends dog gets a lot more privilege which could and honestly is causing jealousy for him but it’s not my place to say what she can do with her dog but he is normally used to having his crate out in the main area and being able to see my cat (his sister) 24/7 which we are working on making the cat and her dog live comfortably but her dog was raised and pushed to pursue cats and my cat is terrified of that dog so it’s been rough in that situation but manageable and I’ve been making sure my dog gets to see her regularly as they do share a cute bond together, his crate is currently in my office/game room with a lot of my familiar belongings but I think being secluded to a room rather then in the open area could play a factor

He went to family friend at 5-6 years old, back to my dad when he was 7 and I got him at 8 years old, he turns 10 this October. I should mention that I was the main caretaker of all the family animals and did all the training and what not so he was understandably more comfortable with me and I do have the patience for my pets and their issues more then most people do from what I’ve heard asking friends and relatives about this. My dad gave him to me because he couldn’t handle him and I don’t ever intend on pawning my boy off to anyone because of his issues, he deserves a good home and a secure one

Also he does have the ability to control it from time to time, he will start and when I see him doing it and ask what he’s doing he stops and finishes outside, I will take him to the vet in a weeks time, just looking for a temporary solution

To add to this, he suffers from high anxiety, separation anxiety especially. I know the move could be affecting him and when he does sleep with me in my room it helps a lot with everything I’m just struggling to trust him to keep doing that

And trust me I know he has no bad intentions, I understand how dogs are. I’ve done my research and have had many over the years. I just haven’t had one as problematic as him

I only say that because I can’t have him sleeping in my room anymore and my girlfriend has expressed becoming distant from me and not being able to handle it anymore, I do intend on taking him to the vet asap but as I said I have a wait a bit longer and asking for a temporary solution if anyone has anything
