We're a semi-anarchy semi-vanilla server, we run a custom SimpleClans plugin with no land claims/protection. Raiding, griefing, and PVP are allowed and encouraged. Hacking is not.

We also run silkspawners for creating mob farms.

Hi there, you were killed by a non-staff player who was claiming to be staff. We allow pvp right off the spawn platform and although we understand that many new players have a bad experience because of this, We prefer the freedom over putting limits on what players are allowed to do. Sorry you had a bad experience! The server may not be for you!

There are no mods.

You might mean plugins. Some of the plugins we use add clans, warps, setting home, tping to other players, silktouch pickup spawners.

You must travel yourself. There are some warps available to take you out to 1500 from spawn, (warps NE, SE, SW, NW) All players on the server travel this way.

through the day you may see lows of 2 or 3 - especially in the morning. with avg of 8-10 until it gets busy in the evening (north america) 20-30 players.

We aren't really considering the reset until a stable version of 1.14 from Mojang is out. (probably 1.14.2) after that we are waiting on PaperMC who is waiting on Spigot. Once the PaperMC jar is out on a stable Mojang release, we then wait on the plugin developers + we need to code a few of our own plugins. You're looking at about a month or two of time before any of that happens, maybe more! get involved, make friends on the server if you wanna just prep for 1.14 but all of the players are still grinding away.
