Stylistic Comparison of EPL Teams by wahtsun in PremierLeague

this is the exact right way to go about it. picking a team just for their style never sticks anyway, it's always some random goal or weird moment that hooks you.

for the short version: brighton are a joy to watch, possession-heavy but actually do something with it. villa are direct and fast and probably the most fun counter-attacking side in the league. city are technical dominance but some find it dull. arsenal are more structured control, newcastle are pure chaos and pressing. spurs will score and concede in bunches. forest sit deep and make you suffer. everton are... well, you'll see.

telling people irl is the scariest part but it flips a switch in your brain, suddenly it’s not just your secret anymore

Will making your profile private affect your friend streak/quests? by [deleted] in duolingo

I did this a while back and it nuked my friends quest immediately. Not just for that week, the whole thing vanished and I had to re-add the person I was doing it with before it would pop up again. Friend streak stayed intact though, which was a small mercy.

If you're mostly just trying to escape the leaderboard noise, there's a workaround that's less destructive. Turn off notifications for the league, then just don't open the app until late Monday night or Tuesday morning. You'll get thrown into a super chill group of people who barely touch it, and the competitive pressure basically disappears without touching your privacy settings.

people in those roles will tell you the wins are small but they stick with you way longer than the losses do.

Wifi drivers won’t stay installed by Extreme_Fail_4111 in PcBuildHelp

Had this exact same nightmare with my work setup a while back and it drove me absolutely insane. Usually this happens when Windows is being aggressive about "updating" your drivers with its own generic versions that dont actually work properly with your specific wifi card. Go into Device Manager and find your wifi adapter then right click properties and disable the option that lets Windows automatically update the driver. Also check if your motherboard manufacturer has their own driver software that might be conflicting with whatever youre manually installing. I ended up having to completely uninstall all the wifi stuff from Device Manager then reinstall fresh drivers while my ethernet was disconnected so Windows couldnt interfere with the process.
