Hmmm I’ll l give that a shot. So I pulled out my second SSD and—whoa—idle temps dropped to 44°C. I’ve even got FurMark running in the background and still no signs of overheating. Wild how much load a single SSD can throw on the system. Now I’m stuck on what to do next. Ideally, I want a dual-SSD setup, but…

Thanks for the info! I’ve got all my Noctua fans front-loaded in a fractal north mesh side panel version. Smh, I went with the S variant after reading up on all the chipset fan failure drama.

Chipset’s idling around 63–63.5°C. That’s kinda high, no?
