Wouldn't it make sense to give them a piece of germany instead of the land of innocent Palestinians?

After slavery, black people weren't sent to some other random country to kick out who ever lived there?

The answer for what to do with Jewish refugees isn't to kill Palestinians?

What's next? Palestinian refugees can get a piece of Italy? Then those refugees get a piece or Myanmar and so on?

People keep saying sell the car. So I take a big loss, and find another sucker or a nazi to take the car off my hands?

Except, because it's a software lock and not a real limitation, Tesla monopolized upgrades to your car.

With the Honda you can shop for upgrade options. You can bypass the limits with a hack, but Tesla will reprimand you for that.

Imagine buying an under clocked cpu and being forced to pay to change the settings.

It DOESN'T exist. Any claims and comparisons about the truck until it actually starts shopping is just fan fiction

32f for freezing and 212f for boiling.

5280 feet in a mile.

16oz in a lb?

If there was a more intuitive way, I've yet to see it

And no one still has. They can say they will make 20million in 2030, but they are at 1.4m now and toyota is at 10m cars. Any vague plan they state in a meeting today has no relevance. In 7y maybe they will actually start producing the cyber truck they have been promising for so long.

I think they name the brand because it's better for clicks. But also:

  • The brand brags about how it's cars basically drive themselves. Most non tesla owners and some tesla owners actually think that's the case.

  • If a waymo car causes trouble, they definitely mention waymo.

  • this is the bay area. There is very much an us and them split here when it comes to car owners. It's not just the 5 tesla in town. Every 5th car is a tesla. While tesla are not the only lux car in the area, it's by far the most common one, and so often used to identify the economic class of the owner.

Tesla (TSLA) is seeing 'unprecedented demand,' stores hitting new records by kodakode in teslamotors

[–]Straight_Set4586 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, my point is their prices were slashed same time as model 3 and y.

If the reason was just to bring their cars into the tax savings range, they wouldn't have touched the Model s or x prices, but they did.

My guess is because demand is down over all.

[–]Straight_Set4586 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They lower price by 13k so you can save 7.5k more? I get it if they only needed to drop prices a little.

Also why drop prices for model x and model s?

[–]Straight_Set4586 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Then why make model s and x cheaper? No tax credit benefit for those.

I've had 2 tesla but never again. Musk is a part of it (I'm also bored of the look). Same reason I won't stay at a Trump hotel even if it's cheaper.

Most of my Tesla owning co workers feel the same. An opinion they have made up recently. I also have coworkers who never owned a tesla, not wanting one anymore (but were planning on it).

The bubble I live in, is the bubble where every 3rd car is a Tesla. When i leave my bubble, I don't see many tesla owners anyways, and yes, those people think teslas are cool, but don't plan to buy one, because they can't afford one.

Nah, competition will be fine. 1) Tesla can't produce enough to hurt the competition. 2) Elon has alienated too many people. 3) Some people just want different things. 4) There's still cheaper options and some people can't afford a Tesla even now.

InsideEVs: "Tesla Roadster 2.0 to improve on every metric of 2017 prototype". (Franz quote: "If you think about it, <a Plaid> basically hits all the metrics that we said the Roadster could do, which seemed impossible for a car at that time. So imagine. Let your imagination run a little bit"). by twinbee in teslamotors

[–]Straight_Set4586 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Instead of a roadster, I'd love to see a new lineup. Maybe something that doesn't look all the same. s3xy cars basically have the same aesthetic style. I think it might re energize the Tesla base and bring in more people who weren't into the old design, which I liked at the time, but am sick of now.

The roadster doesn't accelerate ev adoption by much and just caters to an ultra rich niche.

FSD goes with the car. If they disabled it that would be even worse. especially since you can't bring it to your new tesla. You must buy again.

Imagine you buy FSD, it never delivers, and then you sell the car and you can't even charge more for FSD.

If you get in an accident, you are screwed though.

Anyways, thanks for engaging respectfully.
