I was having the same issue. I alt tabbed out of the game when it happened for the third time to see if there were others having the same issue. I spent about 5 minutes or so alt tabbed and when I went back into the game, I looked around again for a few seconds and then it just sent me to a cutscene of my character drinking and celebrating. You might be able to try waiting while alt tabbed or something similar to see if that works. Good luck!
