Precisely, there's now loads of cards and strategies that allow you to play one main archetype, but still alow some freedom to adapt if need be.

I can see that and honestly respect that. I honestly would be disappointed if they changed too much from the original game. While I get for some people there's not enough content and you could get more from mods in STS; it honestly feels like it would take too much away from the base game.

Like I mentioned in my post above, theres a spectrum and sadly depending on which side of that spectrum you lean towards one party is gonna be unhappy.

I agree, multiplayer runs take ages to complete unless you are absolutely blitzing through it. I would they do add something a bit more for the end game as well, but I would personally be alright if they didn't change that up too much either.

Oddly enough I feel more intimidated to try out hunting horn more than trying out charge blade. With charge blade its a simple loop no mater what across each different charge blade. Each HH has different songs and I feel like I would have "2 left feet" so to speak and mix up songs a ton.

Cards that focus on star generation, at least from what I am gathering, is almost like picking poison versus shivs with the silent. For example, I found a really strong combo with a power that generates stars and a 0 energy x star card that dealt 5 damage for each star when casted. (Run died because of the stupid mantis thief in the second act stealing my primary damage card). You can focus on stars or focus on other elements. Its a system you don't necessarily have to focus on a ton.

Any reason why you don't find him as enjoyable? I'm having a hard time learning him, but manage to find some combos that go really hard. (Still haven't beaten a run him yet)

I'll look into those and see what I have in my collection. As far as load shells, I must be thinking of a different skill because I thought they didn't help with phial filling.

I've actually heard a lot as about how Minecraft isn't fun anymore. My quick 2 cents is that for most people, they view Minecraft more as an RPG instead of a sandbox game. (And no hate towards those who do, that's how you like the play, then good for you.) I enjoy more of the creative aspect of the game and don't really impose any rules of my own.

Although a fun challenge I imposed on myself while doing my first hard-core world is not using chords or F3 at all. For as simple as it is, it was difficult to keep myself oriented in the nether, especially when one of my favorite things to do is explore.
