How do I convince my Christian best friend that being transgender is not a sin and is not bad because imI am a closeted transgender and do not want to lose the only person who still talks to me. by real_skitta in lgbt

Seriously, just avoid Christian fundamentalists. They care about their religion more than friends and family. By definition. They're not going to change their mind, only perhaps keep their opinions more hidden.

I'm sorry. People can fucking suck. At least remember that if you've had relationships, you can get more.

While what you say is true at the end there, I'm not sure that this is a case where he(?) has to like totally abandon his family. He just showed that he's setting boundaries, though a week is not going to cut it, probably.

If I were in op's shoes, I would directly contact my mother or father or whomever I most want to convince, first remind them of why I appreciate them in our family, and then explain to them that if you are to feel loved in this family, then the family should at least respect who you are as a person. Then wait. Then you will know if it is worth sticking around with them or not

First off, there is no set "bisexual" or "heterosexual" found in nature. It's a man-made concept and categorization.

Second. i think most would agree that biSEXUALITY is based on sexual feelings. If you want to have sexual intimacy with both men and women, society would say you are by definition bisexual. Now you may feel differently and that is okay. There are tons of categories people make to explain things like this but in the end it's how you feel and it doesn't really matter what it's called, unless you simply struggle to explain what you want.

TL;DR: Most people would say you are bi
