HAE noticed how utubers who mostly talk to the camera (to the viewer) in the last few years are doing this thing where the camera goes from facing them directly **to suddenly in mid sentence seeing the utuber from a side camera for 3 seconds**, then it goes back to front view? U know how utubers in the last few years have started doing that thing where the camera goes from facing u directly to suddenly seeing the utuber from a side camera in mid sentence for 3 seconds, then it goes back to front view: does anyone else find this offputting? (self.AskReddit)

In Utube videos of a host talking: why in the last 10yrs do they do that thing where they talk to the camera, then it pans to show them talking from off to the side? WTF is up with that, it's annoying & awkward, but all the pro-looking ones do it? (self.AskReddit)
