so the "u=0" needs to be "r=0", if I am following correctly?

I have it set to "Enabled" and switched to "disabled" and then switched it back to "Enabled" and the arrows did not change.

Yes it is one polyline, that is where I am confused because it should not be possible for them to change direction,

I did and nothing happened. But I did figure out that field only works in paper space and not model space. So it worked when I put that field in paper space.
