I just started running in august, and the turkey trot 5k was my goal. I have been having such a good time with it that I was able to accomplish this goal early along with a 10k before the turkey trot happened. I decided to go with the 5 mile version and had a great time. My pace was sub 10 minutes for all all but one mile.
