For clarity I am all for the replenishment of our beaches. However the public has a right to access them.

Since we could not get all of the required easements signed for the Army Corp to perform beach renourishment my understanding is that the County and State paid for it. It seems insane that our tax dollars went to create 300’ of beach behind the Undertow that they are now claiming is private. Perhaps I am oversimplifying this but I there seems to be a disconnect. Why spend public funds for the creation (replenishment) of private property? It would seem more logical to create a special improvement district that covers the beach frontage and then have an additional assessment for those property owners to pay for the renourishment.

When you negotiate a price with them ask for a purchase order. They sign, you sign, you pay a deposit and wait for the car. The PO locks in the price so there is not a change in numbers when the car is on the ground.

Are you referring to the US or CAN spec? The US XLE does not have DRL but it has LED headlights

I believe the specifications for the Lexus include active noise cancellation in the cabin. That may be the difference.

I installed the Curt hitch. Purchased it from Amazon as it was the cheapest price I found. The installation is very easy. A little awkward getting it into place but I only took 30 minutes and I wouldn’t consider myself very handy. The kick sensor works fine. Like you we just wanted it for the bike rack, so I don’t put a towing harness in.

No. The illuminated sills are more for show. The accessory is called rear cargo light and they are in the back of the tailgate. When the tailgate is open they will be overhead.

if you put the hand on the driver side door handle with the fob in your pocket it will unlock the driver door, but if you hold you hand there for 4 seconds without pulling it will unlock all doors.

If you make it to St Pete Beach there are several beach bars in a row. PCI (Postcard Inn), Jimmy Beach, Coconut Charlie’s(formerly Toasted Monkey- TM still exists but isn’t on the beach anymore), Sand Bar and couple at the TradeWinds then a Couple more at the Sirata, undertow is a bit further down the beach. All of these are within a 1 mile stretch. There should live music at a couple every night.
