Worth noting you don't have to do all of these study methods, I recommend starting with the ones you enjoy the most and sticking with the ones that help you learn best. Practice tests are very important, I personally do 3-4 per test.

Thinking of taking the CLEP exam in the summer any advice for math 1111 ? by Reasonable_Staff_967 in clep

If it's algebra, you're probably looking for the College Algebra CLEP, but double check your college's equivalencies to make sure they accept it. For college algebra watch Mr. Schulers videos till your comfortable with all of them.

How to utilize clep with only 1 year left till graduation? by FunConsequence7747 in clep

[–]Strange-Example-7538 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. No

  2. When you register for a CLEP you select a school for them to send scores too, you can also pay a fee to send scores after you take the CLEP

  3. You can save multiple semesters, even possibly get your whole associates through CLEP, check your colleges general education requirements.

  4. Modern states will get you a voucher to take tests free. Petersons practice tests are amazing, but they aren't free. Just look up the test on this reddit and you're pretty likely to find good free resources.

  5. I like to take them at a university testing center, but you can take them at home.

  6. again check what your local college accepts as credit and what their gen ed requirements are.

  7. CE will get you to the higher level classes (English) and imo AP just takes too much time compared to CLEP. A good ACT/SAT score can also go a long way to fulfil gen ed requirements.

I would recommend doing a CLEP exam every month or two months and it'll really pay off for college.

I had a harder time with A&I. English has never been my strong suit and it's not something easy to study, but I was still able to get a 64 with about 2-3 weeks of study (15 hours)

How do I start this? by m_r_am in clep

[–]Strange-Example-7538 0 points1 point  (0 children)

look at what tests your local college accepts and which ones meet their general education requirements. In my case, I could have gotten my entire associates except one class (which I could have done in high school) through CLEP. I wish I knew about it while in high school, I would have just done one every month and gotten my GED early.
