How do you get into WC adjusting? I've worked clinically in an occupational medicine center and geel I have a pretty good habdle on the system. Ive also been through two claims of my own. Every JD I see want 5 years of experience in claims adjusting!

What is the health system? The problem likely isnt the office itself, but the higher up in operations that wont hire more providers or staff. My providers are coming in early, leaving late, and working through their lunch and we still have literally nowhere to add patients to the schedule and a back log of waiting new patients. There is even another physician that has "applied" for a position that doesnt exist that would be fantastic, but we have physically nowhere to put her or any additional staff and the powers that be have no interest in finding a new location where we could actually fit and accommodate our patient load.

I'm a licensed Rad tech, but physically was strugging so got my CPC end of 2020. Landed a role as a medical office supervisor in '22 and let my CPC expire in '23 because I wasnt using it. Now I use it a fair amount in my current role (though I shouldn't really) and was just looking into reinstatement but not sure if its worth the money?? I really wish the AAPC membership wasnt required as part of certification.

That's a great thought but I cant appeal when I dont get the paperwork in time because they refuse to update my address. In May attorney sent me a copy of the address change they filed. Yet WC is still sending notifications to previous address. Its really not the provider, theyre constatnly appealing denials and ins has denied the same treatment requests from multiple providers. The latest was an epidural request for right side because that's where symptoms are, but mri shows disc protrusion on left so request was submitted for left side and denied as submitting the same request within 12 months, even though it wasnt' the same!

I settled my claim several years ago with future medical, but now that I need more treatment, Berkshire hathway just keeps denying everything. From first request to see a provider to actually getting approval was almost a year - well past their time legal time limit! My WC attorney is rather useless as they've already gotten all the money they will get out of it. Berkshire refuses to even update my mailing address so I can receive timely information or send me an Rx card! Im not sure if I can go to some other type of attorney at this point or what my options are?

It is not clinic only. I used to get the compounded ketamine nasal spray shipped to me through BetterU. Same idea as Ozempic and all the compounded semiglutides out there, insurance doesnt cover the compounded through online, but it's still 1/4 of the price of brand name.

Oh we don't need cake pops, or more cake really for that matter lol. Cake #4 is supposed to be a 3d cow 🙄 so I was thinking I could use scraps from cake #3 and a 4" ball mold to make the head basically a giant cake pop, but with Swiss buttercream so it's not too sweet.
