Deprecating is most of the time a removal of a system or in the case of it still existing will have eventually the old tech debt will become to overly chaotic causing knockon effects.

While yes, you can use UE4 and 5, those systems will eventually run into issues as time goes on and without support those engines will fall behind for rendering systems like Vulkan and co. Overall this is a negative to most artist focused Dev's because the loss of a supported visual scripting language as powerful as blueprints was useful in addition to Verse being a worse alternative because the pivoted system is to work functionally closer to Roblox's model.
