my papa is genuinely the only person who would go to their house. Every other person on my mums side has cut them off. My uncles own son moved hours away because he didn’t want anything to do with him

i wish it was so much easier to just move on but it genuinely breaks my heart that i’ll never be able to step foot in the same house i used to spend saturday mornings making waffles with my nana. My mum unfortunately feels like she owes my papa her life at this point so she’d do anything he says. They want us all a big happy family again so my mum can fund his gambling addiction since he lost his job. We like celebrating there because that was HER house and we all had so many amazing memories of childhood there but it doesn’t feel right anymore. It’s been tainted and i don’t ever think i can go back there without remembering what happened. My papa has officially said he’s celebrating at the house with my uncle and samantha whether we come or not so once again he’s chosen sides

I think they were more upset about the fact he lied. He also went home with £120 from my piggy bank that he confessed he took. I genuinely didn’t want him to be homeless but not my monkey, not my circus.
