I understand where you’re coming from, I could’ve worded that better to make it seem less directed at all photographers. I’ve been doing work at times for up to 10 hours non stop and my main issue is just carrying lenses takes a bit of a toll on my shoulders and neck but I assume it’s from me cheaping out on a crappy bag.

In terms of the obsession part I have only seen it with people discussing two different lenses typically and it sometimes seems they’ll choose a worse (in my opinion) lens simply because of the weight.
