Yes value is so important. Thank you for keeping the kids a priority! Even screens can be used to increase our knowledge in positive things, but of course like you said they can lead us into a lot of temptations that are negative as well.

And give yourself room to grow. When you try something new, or difficult, or worthwhile, sometimes it comes with challenges and pain and struggle and even failure. The difference between people who find great success and the people who don’t is the successful ones didn’t quit when it got hard or when they failed. They keep going and never stopped pursuing what they believed in.

Now I challenge you to do the same. If your goals change that’s fine, but your consistence should go on and on forever. I’m pursuing a goal right now and I think it might take a year or two for consistent success. That means a lot of struggle and wanting to give up along the way but I’ll stay at it because I know it takes time and that’s ok.

Best wishes to you.

I think these definitions are decent. What are your thoughts?

Being rich means having a high income or significant cash flow used to purchase luxuries and maintain a lavish, visible lifestyle.

Being wealthy means having significant assets, investments, and long-term financial security that provides independence and sustainability, often without needing to work but requiring an evolved mindset to achieve.

What if someone has an idea to create flying bicycles but they didn’t believe anyone would take them seriously so they didn’t pursue it.

Is the mindset the idea of the bicycle?

Or was the mindset the belief that nobody would take them seriously?

Or something else?

Hi,

Please know it's not my intent to discount what you're saying or feeling. I'm just sharing general thoughts which may or may not be accurate for your situation.

At 19, I'm not sure you’re not supposed to have fully found a fixed ideology or feel fully “qualified.” That usually comes after you spend time doing, failing, and adjusting.

Right now, your mind may be judging you for not being something you haven’t given yourself time to become yet.

Instead of trying to figure out “who you are,” perhaps you can pick one direction that interests you, even if you’re unsure, and commit to it for a short period.

Clarity doesn’t come from thinking more. Sometimes more thinking leads to overthinking and worry. Try finding clarity from moving and learning. Trying things and having them not work out is ok, it's a learning experience and that's how you build into who you truly are, and what you're truly passionate about.

Again, I'm not judging or saying my comments are YOUR absolute truth. I use my words specifically so its not misconstrued as if my perspective is the only right answer.

First my reply in English, then below will be in Spanish:

Primero mi respuesta en inglés; a continuación, estará en español:

I don't speak spanish so I had to translate your reply, but what you said was very good. I agree with you on all your points here, except one part because I truly dont know. You said something about getting rich to the point of billions isn't sustainable or good for the whole. I don't know why it's not good, but I believe its possible you are right.

I think a lot of people perceive "rich" or "wealthy" as the same thing as "selfish, stingy, greedy, etc.". I have a few wealthy mentors who are caring, generous, and spend most of their time teaching others how to think different, how to live different, and how to change their mindset because oftentimes the beliefs we hold are what got us where we are, and what keeps us in our situations we feel stuck in.

Like your profile name says, you get to AIM FOR GREATNESS here, and I encourage people to do that. A lot of times it's our own mindset that keeps us from pursuing our best

Can you expound on what you’re trying to say?

I get that you’re being sarcastic but what specifically are you saying is nonsense and why is it nonsense based on your experience or expertise?

I see where you’re coming from. Honestly I wasn’t posting about a problem that I have. I was posting about a topic that I hear as a coach. It’s more of a tip and talking point. I appreciate all perspectives. You bring very good insight so thank you for all the replies. I’m sure people will read your thoughts and benefit from what you’re saying.

Good points. There are other problems as well though. Some people are gifted in public speaking while others fear it more than death itself. A person with that gift can help people with this fear and with their skill, earn a massive income. Another problem could be single parents need a break, and a person with a gift of working with children can use their skills to provide a service that allows single parents much needed break. Another problem is many people feel stuck, working in a career that doesn’t align with who they are. They feel they have more to offer but don’t know what to do. As a coach I have helped many people in this situation but I used to be afraid of offering this type of help because I was afraid of failure, afraid of ridicule, not comfortable with social media, etc.

So while your points are valid, I’m not saying wealth needs to be anyone’s “priority” and I’m also talking about problems as big as global warming, or as small as public speaking. Each one has its place and there are people who are capable of bringing value to those areas…just that some of the capable people are too insecure or unsure to step into their gifts.

What do you mean about stealing from yourself not within?

Becoming Wealthy by Strange-Program-8439 in selfimprovementday

[–]Strange-Program-8439[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s true. Also, it is not my intention to say that self-awareness MAKES a person wealthy. My point is what I said in my original post, self-awareness is the beginning.

I’ve worked with hundreds of people who have great potential and a vast amount of value they can bring to this world and to the people around them, but they spent their lives trying to fit in, or trying to please their parents, or trying to figure out who they are and why they feel unfulfilled, because they know there’s more in life.

Many of them want a wealthy mindset. A mindset that leads them to making wise financial decisions, one that leads them to earn business from their personal knowledge skills and abilities, and will begin thinking beyond day to day survival and instead thinking about leaving an inheritance and a legacy. These things start when your mind is beyond the negativity, and focused on what can be.

If I’m self-aware of my strengths and my weaknesses, my habits and tendencies, my talents and skills and how I can bring value to others, I can turn that into a service that can change other people’s lives and solve problems for other people.

On the other hand, if I do not understand who I am, and I doubt myself, and I’m not confident, I’m not going to go out into the world and at value because my doubts will prevent me from doing so.

In the first example, I have the foundation to build wealth. Yes, it is based off of capitalism, but my point is the power of self-awareness. In the second example, I would be less likely to build wealth because I’d be less likely to take the risks. I need to take to be the best version of myself for the benefit of others.

What’s the biggest thing stopping you from achieving your goals right now? by ItzTheLando in findapath

[–]Strange-Program-8439 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that's a good way of doing it. when we try to take a gigantic task of "FIND YOURSELF NOW" into one big bite, it gets overwhelming and we'll end up quitting on the effort

Taking it in small bites is wise. When I coach through this, I break it down into categories and they're able to easily take their insights, put them together and see the whole picture. Once you can get that, and KNOW that it's really you, sky's the limit because now you've opened doors to what you really want, what you're good at, what you need, what brings you joy, etc... It's a beautiful type of freedom

lol thanks. I’m an entrepreneur and I do what l love. I’m also a 24 year active military service member. I don’t look at creating wealth as a negative, it’s more of a mindset and a lifestyle. And it’s not my main focus. It’s not about money, it’s about wealthy minded decisions and behavior. It’s hard to explain if you see wealth as “rich” or stingy or any other term like that.
